Progressive Live 2018 - My First Greeting Card Trade Show

I decided to take a chance and exhibit at Progressive Live 2018

Progressive Greetings Live

I'm both super excited and anxious to announce that I will be exhibiting at this year's Progressive Live Tradeshow, taking place on the 5th - 6th June, at the Business Design Centre, London.

I've been 'umming' and 'ahhing'about this for months and since I decided that 2018 was going to be a year of growth for Special Touch Designs, what better way to start than by exhibiting at the only dedicated trade show for the greeting card industry which showcases the wonderful world of cards.

"You have to spend money to make money"

I'm going to be taking part in the Springboard @ PG Live which is a unique, dedicated 'show within a show' section. It is set aside for new and emerging greeting card publishers. So I'm really hoping that buyers will be excited by my vibrant, bold and beautiful cards.

Springboard @ PG Live

I visited the show back in 2015 and as I walked around I realised that there were not many exhibitors displaying cards that were relatable to ethnic minority groups. This was one of the reasons why I am so eager to exhibit at the show. I'm trying to help provide a buying option for people like me who want to be able to shop locally for Afrocentric, relatable cards that they can give to their friends and loved ones.

Over the next 6 months, I'll be posting monthly updates on how I'm preparing for the show and all the drama that unfolds leading up to the big day. So stay with me on this journey.

Congratulations. I wish you all the luck. It’s great that you are going to the show because you see a lack of representative cards for black people.
