What's the point of having Afrocentric Greeting cards?

I’m often asked, What’s the purpose of Afrotouch Design? Why does it exist? I took a moment to think about it and realised that Afrotouch Design is more than just an urban stationery brand. It exists to enable you to share personal moments of Afrocentric joy with the people who mean the most to you. 

You see, I know how I felt and how I still feel walking into stores and not being able to find products that represent my culture and ethnicity. When I think about it, It makes me feel like I don’t matter and that my need to celebrate personal milestones is irrelevant and purposeless. It's a strong statement I know!
 

“Every person is a new door to a different world – Six degrees of separation

I really wanted to change that by creating a card and gift range that was more inclusive and that celebrated Afrocentricity in a positive way. I wanted a conversation starter!
 
When I asked questions and researched my audience, you told me that you wanted to be provided with a buying option that represented your culture and lifestyle, and that of your loved ones. You wanted something that was high quality and provided a great customer experience. You also told me that you wanted to feel like your lives mattered and that you wanted to believe and feel that you were living in a more inclusive society.
 
I truly hope I have created this through my card collection.
